The Focused Care approach

Looking beyond a checklist

The heart and tree mark reflects the many parts of a person’s life that can matter in assessment and therapy: development, family, emotions, relationships, environment, interests, strengths and day to day needs.

The strongest plan is one that connects those parts clearly and turns understanding into useful next steps for adults, children and families.

Frequently asked questions

Before you make an enquiry

Do I need a GP referral?

A referral is not normally needed to make an initial private enquiry. The pathway and any need to involve a GP or another professional are discussed before booking.

Are appointments available online across the Republic of Ireland?

Yes, where online delivery is clinically appropriate. Suitability depends on age, needs, risk, location, the assessment question and the intended use of a report.

How much does an assessment cost?

ADHD assessment is €600, autism assessment is €1,200 and a combined ADHD autism assessment is €1,600. Specialised neurodevelopmental therapy is €120 per session. Assessment payment plans are available.

What if an assessment does not support a diagnosis?

Feedback should still explain the evidence, alternative explanations, strengths, needs and practical recommendations. Assessment is not designed to guarantee a particular outcome.

Begin with a short conversation

The free 15 minute consultation is not an assessment. It is a focused first conversation about suitability, scope, fee and next steps.
